GCAP received this picture from one of our students. A contractor had mentioned to them, do you ever look underneath the pipe label of a painted pipe to see if there is any signs of corrosion?
When I first looked at the picture the first thing I assumed was that when the pipe was painted, it was not painted where the label was attached. According to maintenance manager of this facility it was. This is also not the only location that is having this problem. The contractor that brought it up also said he is starting to see this more and more.
